From November 20th to 21st, Chen Xinglin, the vice president of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., and other leaders conducted field visits to Sunwoda headquarters, cell research institute, Huizhou new energy industrial park, and Shenzhen Precise Testing Technology Co., Ltd., and comprehensively understood the business capabilities of the cell, module, pack, and BMS, as well as its innovative achievements in the field of intelligent manufacturing and industrial Internet. Wang Wei, the chairman of Sunwoda, and Liang Rui, the vice President of Sunwoda, gave a warm reception.
During the visit, the two parties' leaders had extensive and in-depth exchanges on the development strategy of new energy vehicles and strategic cooperation on power battery. Wang Wei, the chairman of Sunwoda, expressed a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of the group and the founder Wang Mingwang. He briefly reported Sunwoda's development history and development strategy，and introduced the current cooperation with Dongfeng Group, Nissan, Renault, and other customers. He emphasized that Sunwoda always adheres to high-end customer positioning, always attaches great importance to technology research and development and product quality, and is committed to providing customers with the most valuable products and services. He hoped that the visit could allow the two parties to exchange ideas on strategic cooperation and actively explore the cooperation opportunities between Sunwoda, Dongfeng Group, and Dongfeng. Based on jointly completing the current project, we will promote the multi-dimensional cooperation in HEV battery solutions, joint development of BEV battery, commercial vehicle electrification, battery swapping model, and industrial Internet.
Chen Xinglin highly affirmed Sunwoda's strength in 3C consumer battery, electric vehicle battery, automation and smart manufacturing, and testing service. He said that Dongfeng Group attaches great importance to developing new energy vehicles and has set a development goal of millions of vehicles in The Fourteenth Five-Year Plan. He hopes Sunwoda can actively participate in Dongfeng Group’s electrification business and seize the opportunity for cooperation to promote win-win cooperation. Based on current business cooperation between Sunwoda and Dongfeng, Nissan and Egert, the two parties further expand the scope of cooperation to provide better solutions for Dongfeng Co., Ltd. in the process of electrification. Chen Xinglin also hopes that Sunwoda will deeply analyze the actual needs of Dongfeng system customers in the future and consider investing and building factories in Wuhan, Xiangyang, and other places, so as to serve relevant enterprises in the neighborhood.
