On December 14th, the 2021 procurement meeting of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor") with the theme of "customer first, enabling the future" was officially held in Liuzhou, and representatives of suppliers and guests from all over the country attended the meeting. At the meeting, Sunwoda Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sunwoda Electric Vehicle") Sunwoda was awarded the "2020 Excellent Supplier" and "2020 VA/VE Contribution Award" by Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor for its outstanding power battery R&D and production capabilities.
The meeting pointed out that Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor has made remarkable achievements in quality, delivery，and new product development in recent years, which is closely related to the strong support and cooperation of various suppliers. In the future, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor still needs to work together to create exemplary achievements.
Sunwoda officially became a qualified supplier of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor in 2017. The two parties have successively cooperated in S50EVA, S50EVB, S50EVC, S50EVG, and S50EVG battery swapping projects, with a cumulative shipment of more than 10,000 units, totaling approximately 1.5GWh. Since the cooperation in 2017, it has obtained various honors such as "Excellent Supplier", "Strategic Supplier", "Quality Contribution Award" and "Outstanding R&D Contribution" issued by Liuzhou Motor for three consecutive years. In August of this year, Sunwoda Electric Vehicle was selected as Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Parts Synchronous Development Supplier to supply HEV power battery assembly products. In 2020, Sunwoda had been the exclusive supplier for all projects of popular brands such as T5-HEV, S50EVG replacement version, and S50EVG.
These two awards are Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor's affirmation of Sunwoda's power battery R&D and production capabilities. In the future, Sunwoda will further strengthen technology R&D, paving the way to establish a closer and deeper cooperative relationship between the two parties.
