On December 16th, You Zheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) and Ding Shaobin, General Manager of Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company, visited Sunwoda for inspection and guidance. Accompanied by the leaders of Sunwoda founder Wang Mingwang, chairman Wang Wei, vice president Liang Rui and other leaders, DFM’s leaders successively conducted on-site visits to Shenzhen Precise Testing Technology Co., Ltd., Guangming Industrial Park and Sunwoda headquarters, and comprehensively understood the business capabilities of the cell, module, pack, and BMS, as well as its innovative achievements in the field of intelligent manufacturing and industrial Internet.
During the symposium, the two parties conducted in-depth conversations on new energy vehicle development strategies and power battery strategic cooperation.
On behalf of Sunwoda, Wang Mingwang expressed a warm welcome to DFM’s leaders. He stressed that Sunwoda adheres to customer-oriented and is committed to creating the most valuable products and services for customers. Simultaneously, Sunwoda attaches great importance to the safety of power batteries, adheres to the principle of "lithium batteries should be done well in both high-end and low-end vehicles", and adheres to high-quality positioning to create conscientious batteries for customers.
You Zheng first affirmed Sunwoda's power battery R&D and production capabilities. He pointed out that the market share of new energy vehicles will reach 20% in 2025, which will become the explosion point of the new energy vehicle market. Under the optimistic development trend of the new energy vehicle market, safety is the primary issue for developing new energy vehicles. DFM attaches great importance to the safety of power batteries and hopes to have the opportunity to establish in-depth cooperation with Sunwoda in the future to realize mutual benefit and win-win progress.
DFM’s leaders also listened to Sunwoda’s development history and power battery development strategy. They thoroughly understood the current cooperation between Sunwoda and Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor co., Ltd., Yijiete, VOYAH, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., as well as power battery R&D and production capabilities, also power cell-related technology introduction.
This visit enhanced the understanding between DFM and Sunwoda, and played an essential role in further strengthening business communication and promoting deepening cooperation.
