On March 22th, Sunwoda announced the start of action for carbon emissions peak and carbon neutrality, and held the 2021 "carbon emissions peak , carbon neutrality" oath and signing ceremony of the Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Responsibility Letter at Sunwoda headquarters in response to my country’s carbon neutrality goals, to contribute to the early realization of the national carbon neutrality goal. At the same time, practicing the goal of carbon neutrality and promoting energy conservation and emission reduction is an imperative task for corporate’s future development. Sunwoda will seize business opportunities and actively assume social responsibilities by building a low-carbon industrial park, applying industrial Internet technology, expanding electric vehicle battery business, extending photovoltaic energy storage, and participating in carbon sink projects.
Zhu Ke, deputy director of the Administration Department, pointed out that Sunwoda's overall energy-saving goal in 2021 is "compared to 2020, the energy consumption of 10,000 yuan output value will be reduced by 8%, and the energy consumption of each business unit/subsidiary will decrease by 10%. Based on the overall goal, Sunwoda will strengthen energy conservation and emission reduction in breadth and depth through the Energy Conservation Committee. At the same time, it will truly integrate the energy management system into the company's business process, and promote the group's energy conservation and emission reduction through continuous improvement of energy performance and reduction of energy costs.
