On March 31, Sunwoda Electronic Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Aegea Motorboat Technology Co., Ltd., a marine technology company with capabilities in vessel design, structural engineering, propulsion systems, and integrated control technologies.

Leveraging their respective strengths in lithium battery technology and ship design and manufacturing, the two parties will advance the development of fully electric high-speed sightseeing motorboats and diesel-electric hybrid multi-purpose rescue motorboats, advancing the green and low-carbon transformation of the marine industry.
According to the agreement, both companies will prioritize the development of battery systems for fully electric high-speed passenger vessels and hybrid propulsion battery systems for search and rescue vessels. These projects will provide technical validation and operational experience for the electrification of water tourism and marine operations in Shenzhen.
As a global leader in lithium-ion batteries, Sunwoda has established a comprehensive product portfolio covering 3C batteries, power batteries, and energy storage batteries, and has been actively expanding into marine applications.
Sunwoda's self-developed 314Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cell has obtained type approval from the China Classification Society (CCS). Compared with mainstream 280Ah cells, it achieves a 12% increase in capacity within the same form factor, with an energy density of 180 Wh/kg and a volumetric energy density of 395 Wh/L, enabling higher energy storage within limited onboard space and improving vessel endurance.
In the future, both parties will further deepen their cooperation in technology development and market expansion, providing safe and reliable battery solutions and supporting the green transformation of the marine industry.
