On October 21, 2024, Sunwoda initiated nullity proceedings before the German Federal Patent Court against the German designation of European Patent No. 2 528 141 (“EP141”) (docket no. 3 Ni 17/24 (EP)), in response to the infringement proceedings brought by Tulip Innovation Kft. against Sunwoda based on EP141.
At the oral hearing held on May 19, 2026, the German Federal Patent Court declared EP141 invalid in its entirety with effect for the territory of Germany.
