Sunwoda’s Digital Battery Passport Solution has been named a finalist for the Supply Chain & Scope 3 Decarbonisation Project of the Year at the 2026 edie Energy & Tech Awards.

The recognition reflects the practical progress Sunwoda has made in building battery passport capabilities for real-world applications.

Sunwoda has advanced this work through industry pilot projects and collaboration with value-chain partners. Two battery passport projects were selected for the Global Battery Alliance’s 2024 pilot programme, while the solution has also been applied across multiple real-world battery scenarios to support lifecycle carbon tracking and improve data transparency.

The finalist recognition highlights the practical value of this work in strengthening traceability and supporting more consistent data practices across the battery value chain.

With the EU's digital battery passport requirements taking effect in 2027, transparent and traceable battery data is becoming increasingly important across the industry. Sunwoda’s consistent work in this area reflects its focus on emerging industry needs and the practical application of digital tools across the battery lifecycle.

Sunwoda will continue working with industry partners to advance battery data transparency, lifecycle carbon management and responsible value-chain collaboration.
